Mckevin Ayaba Dormithienne is a South Africa-based Social Entrepreneur born in Cameroon. He is the Founder & CEO of MAD Productions, an organization based in Johannesburg with a mission to foster and promote cultural diversity; through music, the arts, educational and developmental programs for the purpose of creating Peace, Unity and One Love in our communities. He recently won the Festival of Ideas Award after competing with 140 Candidates. Festival of Ideas is an event organized by Gordon Institute of Business Science, department of Social Entrepreneurship looking for the best candidate with the best idea that impact the community. Candidates present their idea to different panel of Judges.
He is also the Founding Partner of Africa Business Radio, a multi-platform publication and online radio show which caters to the corporate, business, industry sector, investors, venture capitalist, investment owner, entrepreneurs and aspiring moguls in Africa.
Mckevin is a staunch advocate for education and is personally committed to empowering the youths, and helping them reach their full potentials.
Mckevin is passionate about people and his aim is to make a positive impact on the communities and individuals by creating developmental projects that will impact their lives for the better. He was the official Judge of the 2015 Miss Congo SA Beauty Pageant from Auditions to Finale. Over the years, he has dedicated his time to volunteer work and supporting the underprivileged. The House of Hope orphanage that he co-founded in Cameroon in 2013 was born out of his dedication to social justice and from his immeasurable love and passion for his Country and Africa as a whole.
Mckevin is also a member of several arts, culture and entertainment bodies. With a graduate degree in entrepreneurship coupled with certifications in Information Technology, have armed him with all the tools he needs to successfully execute exciting projects.
Anthony Afordofe the founder and Managing Director of Akweni Construction and Project Management, a group that provides project management, construction management, property development management, turnkey property development and related services within the built environment.
Anthony received his qualification in Architectural Technology from Cape Peninsula University of Technology in 2001 and in 2006 he then obtained his Diploma in Project Management at Varsity College, and from early on his career, was responsible for Architectural & Project Management work for 2 top large construction project management companies in South Africa.
His extensive hands-on construction expertise has brought positive implementation results with the Clients with whom the company has been engaged. Anthony is a registered professional construction project manager with the South African Council of Project and Construction Management Professionals (SACPCMP); serves on the Marketing Committee of the SACPCMP Board as well and he is also a member and Vice President of Association of Construction Project Managers (ACPM).
The Akweni Project Management business has grown over the years with a strong footprint, local offices and presence in West Africa, with a substantial team on the ground in West Africa and managing projects across South Africa. Akweni Project Management would provide practical and technical business solutions to the challenges in the built environment to uplift communities, cities, nations and Africa at large.
Akweni Project Management turnover in 2015/2016 came from business in South Africa and West Africa, a 70%, 30% split in revenue.
Stella’s journey to South Africa started way back in 2007. She studied Fashion Design at Sew Africa College in Johannesburg, South Africa.
With her great business skills, Stella took up the opportunities that came her way while in South Africa.
Ugandan fashion designer Stella Nankya started as a model in South Africa in 2007 with a South African based modeling agency. She performed very well and was among the best models in South Africa in 2010. She is currently signed under the Australian based Moment Models Agency. Stella’s excellent performance in the modeling career forced her to start a fashion house labeled StarQT.
StarQT fashion house is one of the largest producers of men and women Clothes in South Africa. Its branded clothes include; Pants, Winter Bunnies, Jackets, T-shirts, Bags, Tank tops and Sweaters. While the starqt clothing line ranges from Couture,
Lingerie, cocktails, Formal, Casual, Traditional wears.
Stella is now the proprietor of Miss Uganda South Africa, Miss StarQT Africa and Miss East Africa South Africa pageants. The pageants are there to recognize the beautiful and brilliant ladies from East Africa and Africa at large.
